Laure, Margot and Ayaka collaborating on a challenging Animation Academy *****ignment.
This is how we create the best animation and VFX in the business; helping each other and sharing solutions.
Fyi, here’s the brief for this training project they were working on:
Shoot your own reference.
Animate your digidouble rig flying down and landing.
He then gets hit by two flying ***** from screen left. He reacts to the hits.
Remember:
Give your character personality and intent.
Camera motion and staging.
Include your reference in your dailies.
We are trying to achieve realism.
Keep it simple and make sure you can hit your beats within the allotted time.
Improve your final presentation with fx cards, crop view and camera shake.
Only add facial animation if your primary animation and body mechanics are approved.

Our program starts with 8 to 10 weeks of intensive training courses, fully paid. The courses aim to improve creative skills, train you on state of the art software tools and workflows and get you ready to work at one of the world’s premiere VFX studios.
If you are an artist who recently graduated and are interested in working at one of Technicolor’s VFX studios then our program is a great starting point!
