Siggraph 2019, the world’s premier conference for computer graphics and interactive techniques, is back this year to showcase latest technologies from AI and machine learning to real-time tech and virtual reality.
The visual effects and animation industries will be contributing to the conversation with an array of presentations, talks and panels, including interesting “making of” sessions for some of the biggest films that have come out recently.
Technicolor’s VFX studios — MPC Film, Mill Film, and Mr. X — will be taking part in the week-long conference with an exciting lineup of speakers and topics. The Focus, Technicolor’s recruitment brand, will also participate in a panel called “Preparing Students to Take the Next Step: School to Work Transition (Demo Reels and Beyond).
Siggraph 2019 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from 28 July to 1 August.
The Focus, which is hiring for Technicolor’s VFX studios plus Mikros Animation Montreal and Technicolor Academy, will be at booth 5/6 during the recruitment exhibition from 30–31 July. The team expects to tap into the wealth of talent that’s sure to descend on the conference.
Below is the schedule of all the talks, panels and presentations from The Focus as well as Technicolor’s VFX studios, starting from DigiPro, a Digital Production Symposium, as well as the Business Symposium — both of which will take place right before the Siggraph conference proper.
